Sending Art

You can e-mail your artwork to cs@unionstuff.com or you can mail it to the address provided in the bottom left of this page. You may also call or email us for our FTP information. We currently use Adobe CS3

Illustrator and Vector Files:

Convert all fonts to paths/outlines.
Acceptable file formats: AI, EPS, PDF & CDR
Some vector file formats contain raster/images files.
Please link these images and include when sending.
ALL linked images should follow Photoshop/raster art guidelines.

Photoshop, Raster and Bitmap Files:

At least 300 dpi at final print size
Maintain any layers, masks, channels if possible.
Use RGB mode for best color reproduction and smaller file size.
Acceptable file formats: JPEG, PSD, PNG & TIFF.

In-house scanner maximum size: 8 ½” x 14” inches.

Artwork Proofs

Blue Donkey Signs requires our customers to approve a proof from our art department in order to start production. Pricing for all products includes a computer screen softproof in PDF or JPEG format. Proofs may also be presented to the customer via fax or in person.

The proofs are generated for the customer to verify and approve the layout, content, and text of their artwork. The PDF proofs do not guarantee accurate color representation and color match of the customer's artwork. If an accurate color match is required from the customer for lettering only or spot color artwork, we can supply a swatch sample.
